SHIKSHARATH 7.0
SHIKSHARATH 7.0 is a comprehensive education and empowerment project implemented by the Samaarambh Foundation in partnership with NHPC (National Hydro Power Corporation). This initiative aims to uplift seven border villages located along the Line of Control (LOC) in Ladakh: Gunas Thang, Bogdang, Chalungkha, Garadi, Turtuk, Tyakshi, and Thang.
Key Objectives:
Holistic Education: Provide quality education to children in these remote villages, ensuring they have access to the same learning opportunities as their peers in urban areas.
Skill Development: Equip students with practical skills and vocational training to enhance their employability and future prospects.
Community Empowerment: Foster a sense of community ownership and involvement in the educational process, empowering villagers to become active participants in their children’s development.
Cultural Preservation: Promote and protect the unique cultural heritage of these border villages, ensuring it is passed on to future generations.
Project Components:
